TITLE: Titanic Advertising Poster Lithograph

LOT DESCRIPTION: This fine art lithograph is an original work of multiple fine art which was created at the prestigious S2 Atelier, New York City, in 1988 under the auspices of the RE Society, Limited. It was inspired by an artwork of the Titanic by the contemporary English artist Peter Fussey who, after considerable historical research, depicted the liner in all its glory in 1912. This lithograph was pulled on a rare 19th century Paris manufactured Marinoni Voirin Press and the size of the RE is 29 x 41. Copyrighted Marine Art Posters, 1994, the signature of the chromist is printed unobtrusively on this lithograph and the RE bears the trademarks of the RE Society, plus the imprimatur emblem of S2 Editions.
